BE Avionics Inc.: The Santa Ana-based supplier of in-flight audio and video entertainment systems posted net income of $1.3 million for the second fiscal quarter, more than double the $601,000 recorded for the corresponding period last year. Sales for the quarter ended Jan. 27 rose 14%, to $6.6 million from $5.8 million. First half net income totaled $2.2 million, contrasted with $758,000 for the first six months of fiscal 1990. Revenue was up 18%, to $12.7 million from $10.8 million.
