Off-road racing technology has made its way to the Gulf--in the form of Light Strike Vehicles or LSVs. Also known as Fast Attack Vehicles or FAVs, the agile racers produced by a Southern California company were used by Marines during the liberation of Kuwait. Earlier, LSVs were reportedly used behind enemy lines in the rescue of two downed pilots.
