K-Swiss Net Income Up 74% During Quarter

K-Swiss Inc., a Pacoima athletic shoe maker, said its net income for the three months ended Dec. 31 soared 74% to $1.24 million from $715,000 a year earlier. K-Swiss said its sales for the period rose 41% to $19.4 million from $13.8 million during the same period in 1989.
For the full year 1990, K-Swiss’s profits rose 52% to $7.24 million from $4.76 million in 1989. The company recorded sales of $98 million in 1990, 41% more than the 1989 total, $69.4 million.
