Loan Extension: Irvine-based National Education Corp. on Friday said it has reached a tentative agreement with its lenders to extend its loans for three years. The company, which provides training services to vocational schools, also said it has signed a previously announced agreement with director Richard Blum, who has agreed to loan it $20 million. NEC has about $54 million in bank debt.
