San Gabriel : New Mayor Takes Post

Sabino M. Cici, a 13-year member of the City Council, has been selected mayor by his fellow council members.
Cici, who is 51 and owns and operates a San Gabriel locksmith business, replaces Councilman James Castaneda. Cici assumed the post as part of the council’s reorganization at its meeting Tuesday.
Councilwoman Mary Cammarano, 50, the office manager for a cement masons’ union in Pasadena, was selected as vice mayor.
Cammarano and Cici are scheduled to hold the new titles for nine months and two weeks.
