Canyon Wrestlers Finish Another Perfect Season

The Canyon High School wrestling team finished its fourth consecutive undefeated season with a 76-0 rout of Villa Park on Tuesday at Canyon.
Matt Padgett pinned Stan Yang in 2 minutes 45 seconds to lead Canyon (13-0, 5-0 in the Century League), which has won 72 consecutive dual matches since losing to Rosemead in December, 1986.
The Comanches, who haven’t lost in league play since 1981, have won the past 11 league titles.
