Michael Johnson set a meet record in winning the 400-meter dash in 46.23 seconds, and Andre Cason won the 60-meter sprint in 6.58 seconds in the Mobil One Invitational track and field meet at Fairfax, Va.
Johnson edged world record-holder Thomas Schoenlebe of Germany by 15-hundredths of a second.
