San Diego police shot a mentally unbalanced man Saturday afternoon with a Taser gun after a report that he was on drugs and acting violently.
Police went to the 700 block of Selma Place and found the 40-year-old man, who retreated to the bathroom. Police shot him with a Taser gun and used a net to subdue him, before transporting the man to a county health facility.
No other details were available.
