In California Collegiate Athletic Assn. women’s basketball:
Cal Poly Pomona 78, Chapman 57--Nine-time defending conference champion Pomona easily handed the Panthers (8-12, 0-4) their sixth consecutive loss and eighth in nine games at Hutton Center. Tami Chick, a junior forward from Huntington Beach High, scored 20 points for the Broncos (12-7, 3-1).
