Short Takes : Gill Robbed on Golf Course

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Country singer and songwriter Vince Gill lost more than just a game on a Bahamas golf course last week.
He was “holed up” along with three friends in the Bahamas for the Goombay Shootout for college basketball teams.
Between the hoop-playing, Gill, a friend and two administrators from Belmont College in Nashville, decided to play some golf.
As they were making the rounds of the Divi Beach Golf Course, two masked men jumped out of some bushes and demanded the foursome’s money. The four quickly complied and the attackers went on their way.
No one was injured in the holdup.
