Cellular Giant Buys Another Firm: BellSouth Enterprises of Atlanta has reached an agreement to acquire Graphic Scanning Corp., a cellular telephone and paging service company, for $180 million. Graphic Scanning serves more than 1 million people in Indiana, including 600,000 in Indianapolis. It also provides cellular service in South Carolina and Wisconsin. BellSouth is the nation’s third-largest cellular phone company.
