ANAHEIM — Outfielder Max Venable has agreed to arbitration with the Angels, the team announced Thursday.
Venable, 33, hit .259 in 93 at-bats with the Angels last season. He played all three outfield positions and it marked the first time he had spent an entire season at the major league level since 1986, when he was with Cincinnati.
Venable, a six-year major league veteran, filed for free agency Oct. 24. The Angels offered arbitration Dec. 7.
