Transient Dies From Recent Hammer Attack

FULLERTON — A 41-year-old transient who was hit on the head last week, apparently by another transient wielding a hammer, died Wednesday, police said.
Alberto Garcia Burgos was pronounced dead at UCI Medical Center in Orange, where he had been in intensive care since the Nov. 11 attack, police said.
