Man’s Body Found in Northridge

Police and coroner’s investigators were trying to determine the cause of death of a man whose body was found Tuesday afternoon in Northridge.
The body of a man in his 40s was was found at a residence in the 9000 block of White Oak Avenue shortly before 1 p.m., Los Angeles Police Sgt. Ted Demaegt said.
The man, whose identity was not made public, showed signs of being beaten and might have been shot, but the cause of death had not been determined, said Ron Williams of the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.
