Pyramid Lake Anglers Are Getting Best of It

Heath Poff at the Pyramid Lake Marina said Tuesday: “The last month has been the best fishing since I’ve been here.”
And he can prove it. Poff threw a live shad off the rental dock and pulled in a two-pound largemouth bass.
At nearby Lake Casitas, Jody Lovejoy, 6, of Oxnard caught his first fish, a 2 1/2-pound trout, using a nightcrawler.
