Teradata Announces Further Downsizing: The Los Angeles-based supplier of database computer systems said it will reduce its work force, which totaled about 1,450 earlier this year, by 10% to 12% and implement several organizational consolidations in view of worsening economic conditions. The company had undertaken cost cutting measures in September.
