Paley Miniseries: Barry Levinson and Mark Johnson, the team that brought movie audiences “Rain Man” and “Avalon,” are developing a miniseries for HBO about broadcasting pioneer and CBS founder William S. Paley. “Paley” is set to begin production in 1991. Paley died Oct. 26 at 89. The miniseries will be based on Sally Bedell Smith’s biography “In All His Glory.”
