UCLA and Stanford Out of Their League
As a long-time college football fan and a close observer of the Pac-10 for many years, I have a proposal for UCLA and Stanford.
They are both rated as two of the finest academic institutions in the U.S., so I therefore suggest the following:
1) Leave the Pac-10, which has become a minor league for the NFL.
2) Petition the Ivy League so they can play with amateurs like Harvard, Yale and Princeton.
UCLA and Stanford play like amateurs, so they’ll fit right in.
