NATION : Youth Slain in School Gang Fight

LAS VEGAS — A 16-year-old student was shot to death today when gunfire erupted during a gang fight in a high school cafeteria just before the first day of school was to begin, authorities said.
Classes at Eldorado High School were canceled after the shooting, which occurred as students were going to class just before the 7:20 a.m. start of the school year.
The victim, identified as Donny Lee Bolden, an Eldorado junior, was shot in the throat by a gunman who fired three shots during an altercation in the school cafeteria, Metropolitan Police Lt. Steve Ducharme said.
