NFL EXHIBITION ROUNDUP : Campbell Leads Lions Past Chiefs

Jeff Campbell, a rookie from Colorado, scored two touchdowns--one on an 85-yard punt return--as the Detroit Lions (3-0) beat the winless Kansas City Chiefs, 35-21, Friday night at Pontiac, Mich.
The Chiefs (0-3) scored their first touchdown of the exhibition season in the second quarter on Todd McNair’s four-yard run.
Campbell, a fifth-round draft choice, combined with Erik Kramer for a 13-yard touchdown pass play with 8:15 left in the third quarter, and ran back the punt 2:16 later.
Cincinnati 13, New England 10--Rookie David Browndyke kicked a 26-yard field goal at 8:48 of overtime to give the Bengals (1-2) the victory at Foxboro, Mass.
Browndyke’s kick came after Jim Breech, the Bengals’ regular kicker, missed a 38-yard attempt five minutes into the overtime period.
The Patriots (0-3) tied the game, 10-10, with 41 seconds left in regulation on a 10-yard fourth-down pass from rookie Tom Hodson to Kitrick Taylor.
Seattle 10, Tampa Bay 3--The Seahawks made a first-quarter touchdown run by fullback John L. Williams stand up at Seattle.
The Seahawks (3-1) drove 61 yards in 14 plays for the contest’s only touchdown with Williams scoring on a three-yard run with 11:53 gone in the first quarter.
Tampa Bay (2-1) scored on a 44-yard field goal by Donald Igwebuike.
