Kuwaitis Told to Get Iraqi License Plates

BAGHDAD, Iraq — In another step aimed at erasing Kuwait’s separate identity, Iraq on Wednesday said all car owners there should change their license plates to Iraqi ones.
A statement by the Iraqi Traffic Police Directorate on Baghdad television said car owners should drive to the southern Iraqi city of Basra to change their plates.
