Tekelec Signs Sales Pact With Motorola

Tekelec, a Calabasas company that makes electronic testing equipment, said it reached a three-year agreement with Motorola Inc., under which it will sell up to $5 million in communications test equipment.

Motorola agreed to pay up to $375,000 of the costs of developing some of the equipment, the company said.

Tekelec has already received $700,000 in orders from Motorola.
