How Reichl could purport to present the top 40 restaurants in Los Angeles and leave off the best of them all--Le Chardonnay--is beyond me. Le Chardonnay has everything Reichl was looking for in abundance--two charming and watchful owners, outstanding food at reasonable prices, excellent service and elegant ambience.
