Symphony to End Its Season With Concert Saturday

LONG BEACH — JoAnn Falletta and the Long Beach Symphony Orchestra will perform the final classics concert of the sold-out 1989 / 90 season at 8 p.m. on Saturday at the Terrace Theatre.
The program, sponsored by Price-Waterhouse, will include “Remembering Gatsby” by John Harbison, Brahms’ “Symphony No. 1” and Walton’s “Viola Concerto,” performed by Paul Neubauer.
Subscription tickets returned to the box office will be available at 6:30 p.m. Saturday for resale at the Convention Center box office. Falletta will conduct a preconcert lecture at 7 p.m. The Terrace Theatre is located in the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center, 300 E. Ocean Blvd., Long Beach.
