Mira Costa Opens Volleyball Playoffs Tonight

Top-seeded Mira Costa High will meet Dos Pueblos of Goleta in the first round of the Southern Section 4-A Division boys’ volleyball playoffs at 7:30 tonight at Mira Costa.
Dos Pueblos advanced with a 15-6, 15-8, 15-17, 15-10 wild-card victory over Crespi of Encino Wednesday night.
Bay League champion Leuzinger, the other South Bay team alive in the 4-A playoffs, will play host to Newport Harbor at 7:30 tonight at Leuzinger. Newport Harbor advanced with a 15-10, 15-12, 15-10 wild-card victory over El Toro.
