A 28-year-old man was killed in a head-on collision in Jamul, the California Highway Patrol reported Monday.
The victim, identified as Enrique Romero of San Diego, was westbound on California 94 about 800 feet east of Rancho Miguel Road when he crossed the double yellow line and collided with another car about 9:45 p.m. Sunday.
The driver of the other car, Martin Joseph Fields, 33, of Jamul, suffered a fractured right wrist and cuts to his left hand, the CHP said.
He was treated for his injuries at Grossmont Hospital and released, a hospital spokeswoman said.
