As many as six members of the St. John’s University lacrosse team allegedly sexually assaulted a 21-year-old woman student in a private house off-campus, police said.
The alleged assault occurred March 1 in a residence rented by a group of St. John’s students near the campus in the Jamaica Estates section of Queens, N.Y., according to a brief statement issued by the police.
No arrests have been made in the case, police said.
