The murders of five Bronx cab drivers, three of which may have been committed by the same robber, have hundreds of drivers switching to daytime hours, operators said. A dispatcher for the Flash Car Service Co. said that only 15 of 80 drivers who usually work nights showed up. A false report of a sixth killing led to a traffic jam when 400 to 500 cabs converged on the purported crime scene, police said.
