AUBURN, Me. — Surge Licensing, agent for the mega-hit $350-million “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,” already has a new creature up its sleeve.
He’s Zen Intergalactic Ninja, an environmentally friendly alien who teams up with a boy named Jeremy to thwart ecological bad guys on Earth.
Surge President Mark Freedman has received exclusive marketing rights to Zen from the extraterrestrial’s co-creators, Steve Stern and Dan Cote of Auburn.
The latest issue of the trade publication “Children’s Business” has reported that Surge is now working on negotiations for a series of Zen toys and movies, as well as a possible television cartoon.
