Paltrow Near Columbia Deal: Bruce Paltrow, the former executive producer of “St. Elsewhere,” is in final stages of negotiation to move his independent production company, Paltrow Group, to Columbia Pictures Television. Paltrow, who is making a summer series for CBS and has fall pilots there and at NBC, has been without a studio deal since ties were severed with MTM Entertainment last year. Scott Siegler, president of Columbia Pictures TV, was unavailable for comment.
