World IN BRIEF : HAITI : 21 Killed in Political Violence

At least 21 people have been killed and dozens wounded this week in a rash of attacks blamed on opponents of Haiti’s new government. A group of civic and political leaders said loyalists of the ousted Duvalier dictatorship were inciting violence in the hopes of destabilizing the interim civilian government.
