Robert Irsay, owner of the Indianapolis Colts, has given running back Eric Dickerson permission to approach the New York Giants and Washington Redskins to put together a possible trade.

Dickerson has said he would like to be traded to either of those teams if he were to leave the Colts. Officials for the Redskins and Giants said a trade is unlikely.
