Crew chief Robin Pemberton has been suspended for 30 days by Roush Racing for using an illegal spacer on the carburetor of Mark Martin’s winning car in the Pontiac 400 stock car race Sunday at Richmond, Va.
Martin’s victory was allowed to stand but the team was fined $40,000 by NASCAR and lost its championship points.
