Ocean View 61, Moreno Valley 58--Ocean View outscored the Moreno Valley, 8-0, early in the fourth quarter and made three of four free throws in the final 18 seconds to preserve the victory at Moreno Valley (20-7).

Greg Evans made a free throw with 18 seconds left to put the Seahawks ahead, 59-55. But a three-pointer by Moreno Valley’s Eric Dahl with 11 seconds left cut the lead to one.

Ryan Martin made two free throws with eight seconds to clinch Ocean View’s (16-10) fourth consecutive trip to the quarterfinals.

Evans scored 18 points and was instrumental in limiting Eric Dahl, who scored 33 in Moreno Valley’s first-round victory over Dana Hills, to 18.
