Wolff, Netherlands Gain Field Hockey Final With 6-2 Win

Ingrid Wolff scored four goals Saturday in leading the Netherlands’ women’s field hockey team to a 6-2 victory over Canada on the final day of pool play in the USA Trophy Tournament at East Los Angeles College.
Wolff tied teammate Wietske De Ruiter and Australia’s Jacquie Pereria for the scoring lead.
Australia used a corner for a goal by Sally Carbon with four minutes to play to beat the United States, 3-2.
The Netherlands will play Australia for the tournament title today at 3 p.m., after a 1 p.m. consolation game between the United States and Canada.
