FULLERTON : Registration Fees Increased for Classes
- Share via
Registration fees for community service classes have been raised from $1 to $2 by the City Council.
The increase, approved by council members Tuesday, will be used to buy a new computer for the Community Services Department, according to department director Ronald E. Hagan. A faster and more sophisticated computer is needed to coordinate classes and students enrolled in the department’s programs, Hagan said.
Since the department automated the registration process in 1984, the number of class participants has increased from about 4,000 to 15,000 a year.
