William L. Salway has been appointed vice president of sales and marketing for Cair Systems Corp., an Irvine-based company that offers services and automation products to the insurance industry. He was previously president of DP Communications, a New York telecommunications consulting company. Before that, he was president of CTEL Inc. and held executive positions with United Technologies Corp., Lexar Corp. and Citibank.
