Regarding Sheila Benson’s “Rethinking Remakes,” Nov., 26:
How sad it is when one of the most intelligent, brilliant and exciting films of the year, Kenneth Branagh’s “Henry V,” is relegated to playing in just one small theater in the Los Angeles area while movies about time-traveling DeLoreans and talking babies are playing almost everywhere.
Obviously, Hollywood doesn’t think Shakespeare is profitable. We think they underestimate the intelligence of the people who go to movies.
