Airlines Planning New Flights to E. Germany

BRUSSELS — British Airways will start a weekday direct Brussels-Berlin service by the end of November, a company statement said Friday.
Belgium has approved the daily morning flights, which will operate Monday to Friday, it said.
West Germany’s Lufthansa airline plans to double its flights into East Germany and is considering wide-ranging cooperation with Interflug, the East German carrier, a Lufthansa spokesman said in Bonn.
