The Oregon Lottery’s plan to add pro basketball to its “Sports Action” betting game holds grave risks for the NBA, Commissioner David Stern said.
Urging the Lottery Commission to drop the idea, Stern said that such a game would make basketball fans more interested in point spreads than in how well their teams are doing.
