Imperial Savings Sues Over Car Loans: Imperial Savings Assn. of San Diego filed a suit in Los Angeles County Superior Court Thursday charging that First Los Angeles Bank schemed to defraud Imperial on car loan financing deals. The suit stems from the collapse of Grand Motors in Glendora, a company operated by Eminiano Reodica, a Filipino emigrant who fled the country in August 1988 when his dealership empire collapsed. (Filed Nov. 16, 1989, Case No. C743944.)
