Garudo Indonesia Airways has announced orders for three additional McDonnell Douglas MD-11 wide-cabin tri-jets, bringing its total orders to nine. The airline also acquired an option for one additional MD-11 . . . Houston-based Baker Hughes Inc. said the number of working U.S. oil and gas rigs rose by three this week to total 1,045, marking the 10th time in the last 11 weeks the count has increased.
