Christian Pop

Steve Hochman, in his Nov. 6 review of Michael W. Smith’s concert, never once mentions the performer’s musical abilities (“Smith at Universal Wasn’t Too Tempting”). Instead he criticizes him as the “George Michael of Christian pop.”
Come on, this is a music review, not an ideology review. Christian concerts are supposed to be filled with the Christian references that Hochman complained of.
