Antelope Valley 30, Saugus 14--Wayne Walters and David Whitson each ran for second-half touchdowns to lead the host Antelopes in a game that eliminated Saugus (4-5, 1-3) from playoff contention. Walters gained a game-high 169 yards in 24 carries and Whitson added 107 in 13 carries.

Antelope Valley (2-7, 1-3) overcame a 14-10 halftime deficit, outgaining Saugus, 277-17, in the second half. Quarterback Tony Abrams completed eight of 11 for 77 yards, including a 16-yard touchdown pass to Chris Johnson.

Saugus quarterback Jeff Hickman completed six of 15 for 122 yards and threw one interception. Pat Henry caught a game-high four passes for 86 yards and a touchdown.
