Santa Clara 35, Calabasas 0--Scottie Tripp rushed for 166 yards and Kwinn Knight scored three touchdowns to lead Santa Clara.
The game matched teams at opposite ends of the league standings, so the result came as no surprise. Santa Clara (6-2, 3-0) amassed 334 first-half yards and limited Calabasas (1-7, 1-2) to only 40.
Santa Clara led at halftime, 35-0, and the officials allowed a running clock in the second half.
Santa Clara quarterback Tim Gutierrez, who didn’t play in the second half, completed six of 10 passes for 119 yards.
