More Bodies Recovered in Taiwan Plane Crash

TAIPEI, Taiwan — Military and civilian rescue teams Saturday recovered 13 more bodies from in and around the wreckage of a China Airlines Boeing 737 that crashed Thursday in rugged mountains near the eastern Taiwan city of Hualien.
State radio said Saturday’s discovery brought the total of bodies recovered to 44 since the search began Friday. The plane crashed and exploded shortly after takeoff from Hualien on a domestic flight to Taipei. It was carrying 47 passengers and seven crew members.
