Attack at High School in Pomona District

Our deepest sympathy to Mrs. Rachelle Henry, her daughter and family, for the unfortunate beating at Ganesha High School (Times, Oct. 19).
We agree that those who stood by and did nothing to stop the attack on her daughter, or any student, is inexcusable and shocking.
Unfortunately, this only reflects the attitude of the present Pomona Unified School District toward many of our problems in this district.
Seems to me this is another good reason to clean house at this next school board election on Nov. 7. Let’s elect new people who will respond to our needs.
Let’s remember this incident so in 1991, when the rest of this board is opting for reelection, we can then finish the job and really clean house.
