Cleveland 35, Kennedy 21--Vincent Johnson scored two touchdowns and Steve Bryant passed for 161 yards and a touchdown to spoil Kennedy’s homecoming game.
Leading, 14-13, Johnson put the game out of reach, catching a 20-yard, third-quarter touchdown pass from Bryant and running seven yards for another score later in the quarter.
Bryant completed 10 of 14 passes, including a 37-yard fourth-quarter touchdown toss to Cyrone Slaughter.
Kennedy quarterback Tony Vazquez completed eight of 20 for 141 yards and three touchdowns.
Carl Marshall rushed for a game-high 96 yards in 16 carries for Cleveland (3-2, 2-1).
Ontiwaun Carter led Kennedy (1-2, 2-4) with 81 yards in 22 carries and also caught a 69-yard touchdown pass.
