Josephina Villavicenico, 56, was struck at 9:04 p.m. by a 1988 Nissan Pulsar as she was walking across Imperial Highway at Flower Avenue, Brea Police Sgt. Doug Dickerson said.
She was taken to Brea Community Hospital, where she was pronounced dead from massive head injuries. Villavicenico was using the crosswalk when she was hit by the car, Dickerson said.
