A copy of the novel “Gone With the Wind,” containing the original autographs of the entire principal speaking cast of the classic 1939 motion picture, will be among items on the auction block at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel on Nov. 2. The volume also contains the signatures of the film’s producer, David O. Selznick, and the director, Victor Fleming. A previously auctioned copy of the novel, which had 23 signatures, went for $22,000 in 1988. The copy to be auctioned Nov. 2 by Willen’s Manuscripts and Fine Prints, contains 31 signatures and boasts the only known complete set of autographs of the principal cast, producer and director.
